Labor Day weekend, outdoor worship

September 4, 9 am, make worship part of your holiday.  We will be gathering outside that day, our last outdoor worship for the summer.  In case of inclement weather, we will gather in the sanctuary.  Feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

2011-2012 Confirmation Classes start up

Wednesday, September 7, 6 pm, meet at church, all students going into 6th 7th and 8th grades, along with their parents.

The president of Lutheran World Relief will be at Grace for the 9 am worship service with Holy Communion and Confirmation.  He will stay to share with us, some of the stories of the important work done by this agency.  Stay for a brunch in his honor, following the forum time.

Boundary waters adventurers return safe and sound

The trip was a success, and we will see pictures and hear stories of their great adventure on Sunday, August 21, 9 am.

Chuch directory update in the works

Thanks to all who have made appointments Aug 1 and 2...and for those of you who have already had pictures taken.  This will be a great directory with your support.  If you couldn't fit in the Monday-Tuesday schedule this week, you will get another chance on August 31, a Wednesday.  Appointments go from 2-9pm.  Call the church office to pick an exact time.  Remember, $25 gift certificate with the free directory, in case you want to buy Christmas cards, wallet size photos, or just something for your friends or family.

Boundary Waters Send-off

approximately 10:20 am on Saturday, August 6.  Join kids and parents as they get prayers for safe travels and faith-expanding experiences in Minnesota.  Pray for healthy interactions with nature and favorable weather.

Grace's Relay for Life Team
